New Dental Patient Information Grand Rapids
We’re Glad You’re Here!
Our dental practice has been serving the Grand Rapids community for more than 75 years, and Dr. Matt and Dr. Dan are pleased to carry on the tradition of providing superior customer service and transformational dental care to those living in the area. If you are a new patient, not only are we excited to meet you, but we also want to make sure you are fully prepared before you arrive. The following page provides all the essential details to make your first visit successful and enjoyable, so feel free to review, and if you have any questions, please contact our office.
Your First Visit

When visiting our office for the first time, we will collect all the necessary information (i.e., health history, insurance, dental history, and previous dentists visited). A member of our team will then determine what kind of X-rays you need, if any. If your recent ones were sent over from another dentist’s office, we will not likely require additional imaging during this visit; however, if not, we’ll decide whether we need a single panoramic radiograph and bitewings or a full series of radiographs.
Once you are in a dentist’s chair, you will undergo a complete, comprehensive oral examination, as well as a professional dental cleaning. Depending on the findings of our dental team, we may refer you to another office for gum disease treatment or administer care in-house, which will be based on the severity of your condition.
Patient Portal

Instead of having to call our office to inquire about an upcoming appointment or pay a portion of your bill, we’ve made it easy and convenient for you. With our secure patient portal, you can log in easily and immediately know when your next appointment is. If you need to make a payment on your bill, you can do it quickly, all without having to pick up the phone or come by our office. Just click on the link below to get started.
Dental Insurance

If you have dental insurance and want to use it to help lower your out-of-pocket expenses, make sure to call our office to speak to a member of our team. We’ll help identify your available benefits and take care of filing all the necessary paperwork so that you don’t have to. It’s our goal to make your visit as stress-free as possible.
CareCredit Financing

Flexible financing through CareCredit can be a worthwhile decision, especially if you’re struggling to pay the full amount for treatment out of pocket. By enrolling in one of their low- or no-interest payment plans, you can make sure your budget remains intact and feel good about seeking the oral healthcare you need.
